Meljens Designs Challenge #220

Today's challenge over at Meljen's Designs took some real thought on my part.  The Challenge is called Feature Presentation and to make a project from a movie you liked.  I have always been a fan of Walt Disney movies and the one I enjoyed recently was "Brother Bear".  It was such a fun upbeat movie and the music was so much fun.  Check it out if you haven't watched it.  You will find yourself singing right along with the upbeat music.

The image I used for the card was Bear Butt. I figured he would be perfect for this challenge.  Be sure and check out what the design team came up with.  Inspiration is everywhere on this challenge.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge

It is hard to believe that it is less than 200 days until Christmas.  Today's challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenge is to be Christmas themed and the twist is to include a tree or branch.  I started with a blue dotted piece of paper and then tore a piece for the bottom out of white cardstock.  I then stamped  the trees (Stampin Up Tree set) over both pieces.  I stamped Merry Christmas on the side and then put glitter on the white paper.  I then added a couple of deer die cuts and I have a Christmas card.  I also added a little stickles to the trees.  Very simple but I know my dad will love it.

Be sure and join us in this challenge.  It is nice to think cool thoughts with the warm weather we have been having.

Two Paper Divas

They have some great new clear stamps over at Two Paper Divas.  For my card today I decided to use the Learn to Dance sentiment stamp.  I had some umbrella card stock and immediately thought it would be great for this card.  I used an umbrella die cut and then the boots were from the Rainy Day Digital Set which is one of my favorites.  I printed it on designed paper and then cut them out and put on the card.
Two Paper Divas has added alot of fun new clear stamp sets.  Check them out because they are the best quality of stamp you can use.

Meljen's Designs Challenge #218

How about some summer fun?  Today's challenge over at Meljen's Designs Challenge Blog  is to use the colors in the picture below.
Don't these colors remind you of summer?  I decided to use the Circus Clown to make my card.
I thought this was a fun challenge because I love all the bright colors.  Be sure and hop over to the blog and see what else the design team has come up with.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge

Today's challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges is lots of layers and the twist is pearls.  I have always loved lots of layers on my cards and pearls as embellishments so this challenge was alot of fun.

I used the Antique Engravings Stamp set from Hero Arts for this challenge.  I just love the butterflies in this set.  I stamped them and then colored with my copic markers.
The base of the card is Pool Party from Stampin Up.  For the background of the card I stamped with versa mark and used a clear embossing powder.  I then sponged all over the card with Stampin Up Pool party and Stampin Up Summer Sun Ink.  I then stamped the sentiment and added a few black pearls.

Hope you enjoyed my card.  Be sure and check out some of the other great creations over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.
